Single Sign-On (SSO) is a technology that allows users to log in to multiple applications and websites with a single set of credentials. This means you only need to enter your username and password once to access all your accounts, making it more convenient and secure.

DocBoss offers Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) for all DocBoss customers at a matter of course. We have multiple articles on this site discussing MFA including here and here.

SSO is now also available if would like to choose this option.

How do I transition to SSO without disrupting users?

When you are ready to make the switch, please coordinate a meeting with our Support team.

We will set up the integration using the domain [yourcompany]1.com.

During that meeting we will remove the “1” from the domain name on our side (in our setup) to make the SSO live. You can have a user logout/login to test while online with support to ensure all goes well (otherwise we just switch back and all remains as it was while troubleshooting happens).
