This is the title of recent article on Forbes.com discussing the expected continued migration of enterprise applications (like DocBoss) to the cloud and how companies continue to increase its embrace.
More specifically, this is just one of the findings from a survey entitled Cloud Vision 2020: The Future of the Cloud (free download with opt in).
Some additional key findings:
- Security remains a major issue, as 66% of IT professionals cite it as their greatest concern when adopting cloud-based tech.
- 41% of enterprise workloads will be run on public cloud platforms, 20% on private cloud apps, and the remaining 22% on hybrid cloud-based apps by 2020.
