To eliminate malicious file uploads, DocBoss maintains a list of uploadable file types.

If your file is not on this list, you will receive an error on upload. If the file is valid, please contact support.

Once we manually validate the file type, we will happily add it to the list, and you will subsequently be able to upload that type of file.

Currently acceptable file types:

Archives: 7z, zip

Workbooks: xls, xlsx, xlsm

Documents: doc, docx, docm, rtf, pdf, mhtml

Drawings: dwf, dwfx, dwg, dxf, nwd, nwf, step, stp, igs, isf, acs, dgn, ppf, slddrw, x_t

Emails: msg, eml

Images: bmp, gif, jpg, png, tif, webp

Text: csv, tex, txt, xml, htm, html
