For troubleshooting purposes, such as identifying when a particular action was taken, or what occurrences led to the state of a card, the history record of all cards can be exported.
To access the export option, navigate to Project Menu > Index Reports & Compilations.
Below the SDI Reports grid, the “Card History Export” option is available. To export the history of all cards, click the “Re-generate CSV Data” button. Once generated, click the button to “Download CSV.”
Each line of history for each card on the project will display on a separate line. To view the history for one (or a select number of) card(s), enable filters in the spreadsheet and filter the export by card name or ID. Once filtered, review this history record in the order identified in the “Recorded” column (which can be re-sorted using the filters in Excel, if needed).
Some useful information that can be driven from the export includes the stage, status, and state of the card, the revision number(s), and system comments (which provide context into the occurrence that resulted in the history record).
