DocBoss welcomes Benchmark Instrumentation & Analytical Services Inc. (www.benchmarkinc.ca) as a new client, signing up in April 2013. Benchmark has office in Sarnia and Calgary with its headquarters in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
The 14-year-old company provides and supports a range of advanced measurement products and systems across Canada and is a leading supplier of Sampling and Analytical products to many primary sector companies to manage and control their operations. Benchmark serves Refining, Petrochemicals & Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Power, Cement, Inspection, Mining, and Environmental industries.
The Benchmark folks have applied creative talent to internal marketing of the DocBoss product. In this short video (click on the DocBoss icon) produced by the very people who use DocBoss at Benchmark, a core feature of the product is demonstrated in a humorous way. Keeping track of all of the many documents that accompany customer orders is a long and tedious job when done using the traditional spreadsheet, work processor and Adobe tools. DocBoss makes short work of this necessary part of the Document Controller’s life, giving him or her time to do other things as cleverly shown in the video.
