Worldwide IT spending is projected to total $3.7 trillion in 2018, an increase of 4.3 percent from 2017 estimated spending of $3.5 trillion, according to the latest forecast by Gartner, Inc.
With the first quarter of 2018 already in the books, what have you done to improve your IT systems and processes to help your business run better?
Gartner projected that in 2018, global IT spending will reach $3.7 trillion. In particular, they project that enterprise software will grow in 2018 by 9.4% which represents the single largest increase amongst the sectors specifically covered.
The survey identified a total of 10 areas of IT that companies should be investing in to remain competitive. Three of those identified areas include infrastructure as a service (IaaS), integrated platform as a service (iPaas) and communications platform as a service (cPaaS).
