Is email an important part of your document control work, in terms of how you send and receive EPC project documentation and submittals?
DoBoss can help.
Here are some of the ways DocBoss makes your emails to your EPC customers easier, customized and readable.
Setting the FROM: Email Address
When you send a submittal notification from DocBoss, we allow you to set the FROM email address. Your options are described in this article.
Sending emails from a custom domain
You can send emails from a custom domain if you choose. For DocBoss to send email using your normal email address (xxx@yourdomain.com) instead of do-not-reply@docboss.com), you must enable both SPF and DKIM records on your domain. This article explains how to do it.
Sending Documents (Outgoing Submittals)
Documents that are available for submission (based on workflow) will automatically move to a queue located on the outgoing submittals screen. The grid in which they appear depends on the workflow target (by default, it is the customer). Check out this article to view your outgoing submittals.Log for sent emailsTo view the Sent email status of an outgoing submittal, navigate to the Outgoing Submittals screen and scroll down to the Submittals Grid. Here you will see a “Log” icon – see red arrow in image below. Clicking on the Log icon will open the Email sending status log. This article gives complete details on this feature.
Run the Expedite Process and Send Emails
Expediting is done in a global sense, not from within each project. You can of course choose to expedite only one project, but the function is accessed from the high level menu under the logo. This article discusses how to use expediting, previewing reports and emails, and more.
